RENAL SECRETARIES AND CLERKS

There are four secretaries at the Renal and Diabetes Centre and three appointment clerks who are based at the PAC Centre for renal patients.  One secretary works full time for Dr.A. Lewis, two undertake a job-share role, working for Dr.M.J. Kumwenda and the fourth works part-time for our Staff Grade doctor.  The four secretaries are based in the Renal & Diabetes Centre. The three appointment clerks are based in PAC Centre which is an office away from the main hospital building. There are also two ward clerks, in the Renal Unit itself, who have a job-share post.
                                      
We look upon our roles as not only providing clerical/secretarial support to the medical staff and
nurses who work in the Department, but also providing help and support to all our patients and their families/carers.  We provide a link between patients and health care workers and we are always available if you have any questions or need help.
